Nordic Electro Power Oy has signed an agreement to join the Lohkare Infra Group on 8th of May 2026. Completion of the transaction is subject to regulatory approval, which is expected to be obtained during 2026.
Following the transaction, Nordic Electro Power Oy will continue operating under its current organization, name and brand. All employees will remain in their existing roles and the company’s current shareholders will become shareholders in Lohkare Infra.
"We are very pleased to become part of Lohkare Infra. The transaction supports our growth strategy and strengthens our ability to participate in even larger and more demanding projects,” says Mika Alatalo, CEO of Nordic Electro Power Oy.
“The acquisition will have no impact on our ongoing projects or customer relationships. Our operations will continue as normal and we will maintain our close cooperation with customers,” Alatalo continues.
Lohkare Infra Group is one of the fastest-growing infrastructure groups in Finland. Its operating model is based on decentralized and entrepreneur-driven leadership, allowing group companies to retain their own identity and ways of working while benefiting from shared resources, expertise, and continuous development. The majority owner of Lohkare Infra is the European investment firm Triton.
“Nordic Electro Power brings strong expertise in energy and electrical infrastructure, as well as extensive experience in delivering demanding power network projects. The company is an excellent addition to our service offering and supports our growth strategy in the growing energy sector,” says Niemelä.
