NEPower supports Team Rynkeby Oulu: warehouse space for maintenance and donations for the little ones.
Team Rynkeby‘s volunteer teams have been cycling for a good cause in various countries for over 20 years. An important part of the teams’ activities is fundraising for organizations that help seriously ill children. Companies can participate in the fundraising either through direct financial sponsorship or by providing other useful support to carry out the project.
NEPower supports Team Rynkeby Oulu’s team by offering its warehouse facilities for the team’s training and maintenance needs. Additionally, the company has made a monetary donation to Team Rynkeby’s fundraising for children with cancer and cancer research. The donation goes entirely to charity.

“Children and youth are close to the hearts of NEPower’s owners, which is why this has been a natural way for our company to do good. Team Rynkeby’s central goals are social responsibility, teamwork, and health. All of these are also important values for NEPower,” says Riku Kohtamäki, responsible for NEPower’s office in Oulu.
Although Team Rynkeby’s main support goal is children, Kohtamäki sees the importance of supporting the team also from the perspective of adults.
“I myself have been involved in the team’s activities for a couple of years before and know how valuable the community-building aspect is. Team Rynkeby brings together like-minded people and creates genuine friendships. The team’s activities emphasize teamwork, appreciation of diversity, and support for each other, which are also central values in NEPower’s operations,” Kohtamäki continues.
